Roof colors identify a building's family at a glance — recognizable from 50 feet away.

👑 Government — Gold

King, Embassy, Religion, University. (The City emerges from the Territory — it is not a piece.)

⚔️ Military — Red

Barracks, Harbor, Hangar, Trainyard.

🌾 Economy — Green

Farm, Lumberyard, Quarry.

🛤️ Infrastructure — Blue

Roads, Rails, Bridges, Walls, Harbors.

⚖ The official piece poster's per-building colors are canonical (2026-07-03, updated 2026-07-10): Castle & Religion gold · Farm green · Barracks & War Forge military red · University blue · Embassy purple · Lumber Mill & Train Station brown · Quarry grey · Harbor teal · Airport/Hangar silver. The per-category roof-color scheme above is retired — kept only as a family guide.

What's in the King's Chest

Stackable: Castle, Farm, Barracks, War Forge, Embassy, Religion, University — 1-inch wooden blocks, colored roof, colored side dots, magnets in four corners.
Non-stackable: Quarry, Lumberyard, Harbor, Hangar, Trainyard, Roads, Rails, Bridges, Walls, Ships, Planes — custom models with a dry-erase level panel.
Army: Poker chips on an Army Marker — 1 strength each, raised only through upgrades; stacks split and merge freely.
Territory: Flags and survey/boundary markers. Measuring tape for ranges and roads.
